The Bang & Olufsen standing mixer was a exercise in graphic language and branding. In the picture on the left the 2D design can be seen, in which only flat graphics have been applied to a regular standing mixer. On the left the final model, a complete 3D design, can be seen. The photographs were taken in the marketing-style of B&O.
To arrive at this result, the graphic language and style of communication of the B&O brand was analysed using several models. From this research, core values and key design features were derived, which resulted into the 2D and 3D design.
